…hummm…..Found this in another message, It may help someelse.
Under Menus>Main Menu>Home, you have a tab called Parameters(System), under that tab you can set the title to show, you should be to set that on all your menu itemsCheers
Locofede:oNovember 13, 2008 at 6:51 pm #279057That doesn’t work…..I have that setting changed to the title of my site and it still says HOME when you go the the front page

Yes it does!
What you are trying to do is completely different. You are trying to change the default text for the ‘Home’ page in the breadcrumbs. Go to your extension manager > modules > and go to breabcrumbs module. You should be able to change the text there.

November 13, 2008 at 9:57 pm #279073Yep I followed the post and your second instructions, which were totally off point, and I still have “HOME” set as the TITLE on my web browser….
I know the difference between breadcrumbs and titles genius

Yea you’ll get loads of help with that attitude. I know what your ‘home’ problem is but it will remain just that. Your problem.
November 13, 2008 at 10:43 pm #279082Yeah you know what my problem is NOW….but that’s what I get for paying to be a member of this site…inconsistent coding
thanks scotty boy

November 13, 2008 at 11:10 pm #279087jagreen78,
Sorry pal…but I think you barking in the wrong tree. Scotty awnser the original question. Your issue is totaly different. Perhaps you should have it posted in a different thread or be more explicit from the beginning.
Also this is a cooperative forum where people help each other so don’t take it personaly on the people trying to help you. If you need premium support …well there is an option avaliable for it.

eurmmm sorry but its not really in place to give scotty that attitude, he is not JA staff and trying to help ppl in his FREE time. Nice for you that you are a paying member but not like he is getting money from that lol.
And you are jumping into a different tread where scotty helped solving the original question.
Make a new tread, do some effort in providing information about what the problem is and what you have tried so far (what you didnt do in this topic). Being rude to people who putting effort in helping people out while they dont get anything in return sure wont help.
Good luck with your problem
January 8, 2009 at 6:41 am #285319i agree with the nice people in this forum. I look for answers more often than I can give them. Your attitude is not welcome and your rather simple issue is rooted Joomla! not the template or its modules.
