Hi

I have installed this great template and now i am trying to modify it to my clients needs. On the front page my client would like to display here latest articles. I tried using the JA_News 1.3.1 but found you needed to create a number of categories or sections for this to work. My client would just like the front page to be link her blog and display 3 news items.

I changed the home page to Front page blog layout. The problem I am having is that every article I create and click the display on front page will not appear.

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this issue please.

Hi marginmedia

On the frontpage, we are disabling this feature. Please open templates/ja_lead/index.php file, find following code section:

<?php if(!$tmpTools->isFrontPage()) : ?>
<div id="ja-current-content" class="clearfix">
<jdoc:include type="component" />
</div>
<?php endif; ?>

and change to:

<div id="ja-current-content" class="clearfix">
<jdoc:include type="component" />
</div>
