Hi,
When I press the article links or read more links on the ja_news module at the front page, it keeps reloading the front page itself instead of following the link. But this usually happens not the first time such a link is pressed but after some navigation such as hitting the back button and clicking the links again.
Once it starts reloading the front page, one has to close the whole tab or browser to reset it. This happens both in Firefox and IE8. Is it a problem with caching?
Any help is greatly appreciated:
The website is at http://www.eylulbar.com

November 9, 2009 at 9:36 am #323010Hi ooguzz
I saw this issue in your website but it is not from our demo site. It think you are using the old version.
Please kindly download this module and install it again
Also, please submit a ticket, send me your admin account, ftp account so that i could have a closer look on the issue.
November 9, 2009 at 9:11 pm #323066Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to submit a ticket, otherwise I’ll be glad to give you the info you require. Please instruct me on that.
Also, I just reinstalled the whole website and the database to start all over. Hopefully it will go well this time.
Thanks.
November 9, 2009 at 9:53 pm #323069I seemed to find the reason. The ‘News’ section must not be changed. If I define my new section and categories for it and then assign them to ja_news it behaves problematically. But if I put the categories and the articles into the ‘News’ section than it works.
Does this mean that I have to stick to the original sections+section names and put the rest into them? I’d prefer to create whatever section I want and assign it to any position I like.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.Anonymous ModeratorJA Developer

Your way is not right. Our ja news is working fine with all sections which you define in this module.
Please go to http://support.joomlart.com and send us your information.
