    Hi,

Everytime I upload an image using the frontend editing functionality the images get permission 600 and thus are not visible. Can you pls tell me what I need to modify?

    Thx

I am afraid you will have to speak to your host regarding this as it appears your server is setting those permissions. It will more than likely be a suhosin issue.

I`m just wondering because when I use the editor in the backend the uploaded images appear and work fine in the frontend. Isn`t there any setting in a file oder in the admin tool?

Not as far as I am aware but if you are using J1.6 there may be something in the new ACL that I am unaware of.

I am searching for hours now to get this fixed. Is there anybody out there who had exactly the same issue and can help me now guide through this?

Please try enabling Joomla’s FTP layer.

Thx. I tried but also with no success. Is there any config file which I could modify? Any other idea? This CHMOD issue drives me crazy;-).
