    I can’t seem to figure out how to display one simple, full width column of frontpage articles in the main content area.
    Anyone know something special I have to change?

    Hi

    Doublecheck that there are no left or right modules that are active for the home page – I have found that even if there is nothing to display templates still make room for the active module and so prevent a full width article. Might be what is causing your problem.

    Had to change template.css .leading and another from 60 and 40 percent to 100 and 100 percent.

    Yes I was under a different understanding of full width!

    I was reading another link re fluid width of template which was along those lines. And with that there were other changes that had to made aswell like background repeat etc.

    Which section or lines in the css file did you change into 100%

    I do have the same problem, the right side of the body in the front page stays empty although
    the articles displayed there asper demo are un-published ..

    kindly advise :confused:

    Hi pimmar

    Make back-up copies of any files you are going to change.

    I have looked at the template.css file and I would imagine it would be these lines where you need to change the width to 100%

    #ja-contentheading .leading {
    float: left;
    width: 60%;
    }
    #ja-contentheading .article-block {
    float: right;
    width: 40%;
    }

    Hope this helps
