I only wish to carry one article on my front page. This is the article that I have marked in the backend to appear on the homepage. However, I notice that a few articles that i have recently added under the article manager are now appearing on the frontpage despite not marking them to appear on the frontpage. I have gone to home menu and changed the settings to read Leading =1, Intro=1, Column =1 but the three stories are still appearing on the front page. What should I change to enable me have only one story on the front page?

Hello osemollie,
Articles which appear on home page are located in “Featured Manager” in “Content” menu in back-end. You can mark only 1 article as “featured” to display it on your home page.

However, I have gone to my back end and I have Frontpage manager but not “Featured Manager” am using Joomla 1.15
I just wish to inform you that I have not even selected any article to appear on the front page hence am wondering how they are there in the first place.
