I am trying to recreate the wide frontpage images as seen in quillaja template, so I create an image of 520 x 320 (the original with the template demo is 520×200) but when I published the article, the image resized, and it does not appear as seen in the demo, what might I be doing wrong?

Also what is the technique to create the 520×200 size without stretching the image, the demo images looks good

Go to Admin>Extensions>Modules>JA News Frontpage and you can set the images width and height there.

It is set at 520 x 200 but my image is still showing as resized at the frontpage. By the way how did joomlart created the demo image of the frontpage in Quillaja, when I resized an image with CS3, it image seems stretched when dimensions set at 520 x 200, but quillaja images looks proportional but still at 520 x 200

‘Crop’ your images rather than resizing them. Resizing squashes the image in to the size you want whereas cropping cuts off the excess.
