April 4, 2009 at 8:47 pm #139931Out of the blue my site seems unable to display images in the 2nd column of frontpage intro article images correctly.
I’m using Joomla 1.510 w/the regular Cooper template.
As shown in the image below, a resize image is created in the resize folder but for some reason the site/template is forcing it to display at original size – using the resized image.
What’s even more weird is that if I look at the properties for a resized image that’s displaying correctly, it’s as follows:
344px × 250px (scaled to 50px × 50px)
but if I look at the properties for the images that won’t display correctly, this is what I see:
50px × 50px (scaled to 344px × 250px)
It’s completely reversed and I have no idea why!
My site is here: http://www.tonyamoore.com but for the time being, I don’t have any of those newer items showing as frontage articles.
I hope this makes sense and that someone can help with this, as I’m not sure I even understand what’s happening here, myself.

April 4, 2009 at 9:38 pm #300071Don’t use this template, but have you recently installed a new content plugin, or editor? I’d try unpublishing any new plugins one at a time to see if the problem rights it’s self.

April 5, 2009 at 3:45 pm #300145Thanks for your suggestion instantinlaw.
In lieu of a solution to the above mentioned problem, I could settle for just not displaying those images at all. Maybe someone could advise how I might have the 2nd column article entries show as text only on the frontpage??? (and still keep the images in the article for full view)

May 9, 2009 at 3:14 am #304119Did you ever get JA Cooper to work? I looked at your site and it looks like you opted for another template. I too have the image problem with a site I have under development… what a shame ’cause it’s such a good template otherwise.

No, I never got a solution to this particular problem.
~ Sorry I couldn’t be of help.October 28, 2009 at 12:41 am #321835When I had this problem, I clicked on the article that this was happening in, selected the image, clicked “Insert/edit image” and erased the dimensions.

November 4, 2009 at 11:41 am #322539You have to change image size in images/resized/stories/ folder. Your image name must be …._50_50.jpg
or
look your image proporties in your article, do not write image size of your pictureAuthorPostsViewing 7 posts - 1 through 7 (of 7 total)This topic contains 7 replies, has 5 voices, and was last updated by alioztr 15 years ago.
