you need to install using the quickstart package
and install the sample data during one of the steps

If you don’t use the Quickstart, you will have to install all the modules and do a lot of tweaking yourself, so the easiest way is to use the quickstart if it is not too late for you to do that.

yes i suggest you reinstall with quickstart to produce a replica of the demo site. otherwise, you will have difficulty finding the module positions, module class suffixes and typography of the template.

there is a tutorial on how to install the quickstart database
