June 12, 2009 at 3:24 pm #307734Hi
I have just looked at your frontpage and the source code. The target code for each link looks unfinished, for example;
” href=”/business/1070-life-coaching-”
Is it possible to redo/recheck them? They almost look like a cut and paste of half of the code?
As far as the 3 pictures not showing, as long as the targets exist, the only reason I can think that they wouldn’t be showing might be because they were moved after being inserted. Sometimes this causes problems. If you want to move pictures after you have inserted them, I find cut and paste works best.
Not sure but the picture ‘broadband internet’ might be too big for 2 column setup, again I found this caused problems sometimes.

June 12, 2009 at 3:33 pm #307735Can you not redo the links that are no longer working to the correct pages?

June 13, 2009 at 5:07 am #307798I had this problem some time ago with this template. It was totally due to my error!
Part way through the site build I changed some of the section/category names which messed up the URL’s, resulting in 404’s all over the site!
In the end, it was getting too messy to put them right, so I installed ReDJ, a small utility that can ‘direct’ bad URL’s to the correct URL’s:
So, in your instance, the ‘From’ URL would be:
http://www.localconnections.biz/business/1054-triumphs-for-cancer-careand the ‘To’ URl would be:
http://www.localconnections.biz/business/health-a-beauty/1054-triumphs-for-cancer-careWhich would stop the 404.
More information on the extension here:
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-&-navigation/url-redirection/7189/detailsHowever, I’m not sure if that would help or not? Does it actually 404 every time you add a new article? If so, there’s a deeper problem somewhere which would need fixing, rather than this quick fix for current 404’s.
