Folks, the JA News frontpage is nice however here is the problem and what I want to do:

Problems:
– it’s a portal to an article so I am forced to have an article with an image in it at the top.

What I want:
– I want to be able to have a frontpage image roll where I can control where the image is linked to.
– the the image should be separate from the article or destination.

Essentially I just want something that works like JA News Frontpage, but isn’t directly tied to an article. I have a page of video and I would prefer that the images are linked to that page with my video content rather than forced to an article.

If anyone knows of something like this, please let me know.

It’s npt necessary to send screen shots because it works just like the live demo of JA Uvite. I think JA News Frontpage cannot do what I want which is link to a page that I want and have a different image than the one in the article.

Hi tangierc,

Current this module does not support your idea. It is only using an image for an article but you can change the module’s code for your idea.

Alternatively, please take into consideration to post your requirements on Joomlancers.com to find a talent freelancer for your project.
I am sorry for not being of much help in this case.
