I have around 4 level in most of my gallery structures and the gallery root displays “no image” and says there is (0) images.

When I drill down to one above the gallery that contains the images it will display correctly.

This is a problem because when a user looks at the top level it appears that none of the galleries have any images.

I have worked around this (I think so far) by loading one image in the root for each level then setting that image to unpublish after it has somehow remembered it for the root display.

Can this be fixed so that it display a random image & counts subgalleries properly?

    thanks don

look at the sport gallery on this page. Says 3 images. when you drill down you find the true number.

I have a temporary solution. What I have done is load an image into the root directory, then made it unpublished. It seems to remember the image and continue to display it, then you can select “thumbnail” in the gallery config.

The only thing that is still a bigger problem is the image count is only displaying a count of objects one level below not the whole sub-branch.

    many thanks
