Hey, I’m using the Wall, installed from quick start, and for some reason the gallery tag/code is not working like on the demo site, was I suppose to install something else or is something not configured right? I can PM login creds and the URL if need be.

I included a screenshot of the article that brought my attention to it

and this is the same article on the demo site : http://joomla25-templates.joomlart.com/ja_wall/en/documentation/item/371-ja-wall-insight-4-themes-styles.html

    Thanks for your time! 😀

After some research, Am I correct in assuming that you’re advertising a third-party paid plug-in as part of JA Wall yet not mentioning that nor supplying it? If not, then what am I missing?

    Still curious, any thoughts?

    Hi aphroids,

It’s a paid third-party extension, it’s used in the demo of Ja wall for demo purpose only and would not come with the quickstart paakage, you can be more details on it’s product page here

    Thank you for your response.

I was impressed with it when I first saw it and i guess I thought it was part of the package, it was not plainly stated that it did not, I wish I would have known that before I bought it. Thanks again.

    Hi aphroids,

That probably caused you confusing but if you take a look at the Ja wall product page here, at the Complimentary Extensions there is not the mentioned extension.

    Hi Sherlock,

you are right, that the gallery is not mentioned in the complimentary extensions.
But anyway … usually I expect a Demo to show exactly what I get. If a Demo shows various other stuff that have to be bought somewhere else, then I doubt the sense of a demo. Certainly, a Template looks better if there are other components and plugins installed.

It is okay for me, even if it´s not totally correct from my point of view, to insert free components like K2. As long as K2 is in the QuickLauncher, then it´s really ok (in the template-club it usually isn´t, but in JA Wall it is).

But honestly: Showing something in the demo without marking it out as “External commercal plugin that has to be bought extra”, do you think that is really straight in terms of “fair description of product”?

JA Wall is great, and it´s worth the money even without the gallery. But it just gives a feeling of being cheated a little bit, because you showed me more then I really got and now I will have to pay extra to get it.

Do you understand what I mean?

    All the best, Julian!

    Hi Julian,

We really appreciate your comments and in the future., We will update the JA Wall product page and take care to avoid such misunderstanding between complimentary extensions and extensions for demo!

    Regards,
