October 22, 2008 at 4:13 pm #134681Hello Folks,
Just thought I share with you how great this new Sanidine template really is, I was using another a Joomlart template before this one came out, and with a few modifications mostly to the ja_bulletin and ja_slideshow modules it came out really nice, and it was easy for me to modify.
The website is http://www.funexpressgames.com and it is a game store in Florida.
I would like to add a gallery to it shortly, but for now it is totally functional and about 100 times better than any other competing store website, so it can wait a until I get around to it.
Thanks, and I would really appreciate some feedback from you guys for any adjustments, or suggestions on where to go next.
Thanks again,

October 22, 2008 at 4:30 pm #276603Mark site is coming along really well…for me I would not have the same video visable twice on the frontpage, I would change one for some more content…but hey its your site and maybe I’m being a little picky.
I also think that unless you are updating very regular showing the creation date can in itself make your site look dated…if you know what I mean.
Keep up the good works 😉

October 22, 2008 at 4:41 pm #276605I agree about the Video module, so I took the main page video off and left the module on the right. Also, I do update the site with about two articles a week, do you think the date will detract? What is the general rule of the thumb.
Great suggestions!
– Mark

October 26, 2008 at 9:53 am #276945well mark its very awesome site and a real joomlart tweak. in the personal i remove the date tag and the creator tag make the site looks better.
the only thing i miss here was a left or right site menu, even the top one works excellent.
the other thing is (personal taste) i always try to include a descriptive image in every article, maybe its a lot of work for you but makes the articles looks even better.
the header its really well fitted. but i feel a lack of animation or life in some part of the site.
really its a good job, keep going.
hope my coments can help:D:D:D:D:D

October 26, 2008 at 11:18 am #276951I don’t know if it is a problem with the template or something you have done but your slideshow does not autoscroll until I mouse over one of the thumbnails then it seems to work fine.
Nice use of colours although I think your logo colour might be better the same colour blue as you have used on the text?

October 26, 2008 at 3:06 pm #276968nice looking website!
I would recommend using search friendy url’s tho. With the build in function in joomla 1.5 or with a plugin like 404sef.
greets!

Yes, I live in the sticks and only dial-up at home. I will check at office where I have some speed…:p
From everyones comments sounds like a nice site.

December 6, 2008 at 6:20 am #281532The site looks great. I tried the link on the footer, About Joomla, Features, etc, and get a Error 404. Maybe you were not planning to have those links there?
