This is a very elementary question but I keep facing the same issue over and over again.

When I try to add content to an article, the content that I type keeps extending across forever unless I place a hard return. I find myself constantly typing content, saving, then going to the live site to see if the alignment of the text is correct.

So then I try to place content in tables, fix the column and row width but it still does not hold it to a specific width. I have set tables to 450 px widths and it still just extends and extends and extends.

I know there has to be a simple solution and I am just missing it. I really feel like a nimrod because I can’t figure this out. I had a similar issue when I used a Rocket Theme template.

I am thinking I should be able to just type in the content pane and the width of the content pane for the template will adjust. Or, set a table and the content will fit inside the table based on the width of the table.

Adivce Joomla users?:)
