    Hi,

I decided to upgrade all my older sites to latest Joomla (currently 3.6.4). All my sites use JoomlArt templates and extensions due to long developer account.

From the documentation on templates and extensions it is not clear if J3.5+ / PHP 7 is supported (of course except older ones openly saying v1.5 and/or 2.5 compatibility, but not v3).

What does stated v3.x compatibility mean?

On some downloads there are more specific version such as 3.2 or 3.4. Are these not PHP 7 compatible? If not, will they be?

    Thank you in advance…

    Hi Harikalar Kutusu,

May I know which templates are you using and want to update to PHP7?

    Of course…

    University
    Orisite
    Onepage
    Graphite
    Mono
    Bookshop
    Lens
    Charity
    Medicare
    Events (old version, needs upgrade)
    Decor
    Resume (next website)

But I’ll continue to use additional ones next month… Also there are a bunch of JS extensions on each website.

    Thank you…

    Hi,

Most of above templates which are built with new T3 framework should be compatible with PHP7. But it’s highly recommended to take a backup of all sites / or make a test in local first before updating directly on your live site.

Thank you very much. I’ll first work on the ones with new T3 framework.
