May 9, 2015 at 11:30 pm #206227I’m running my site in both English and German. It suddenly stopped showing the German flag on the English side, only the English flag, so that I can’t switch over to the German side and on the German side it doesn’t show the German flag, however I can select the English flag to switch over to the English side. I can still switch between languages using the URL.

May 10, 2015 at 10:40 pm #570049Update: I got the flags on both sides to show, by making the first item on the topmenu-de and topmenu-en default, so they now have a little flag in the menu manager. However, what’s weird is that – on the German side only – in full article view the mega menu disappears.
You can go to http://therebel.is/de/news and open any of the German articles there. They all open without the mega menu being displayed.
As a work around, I’ve duplicated the mega menu in the ‘topbar-l’ position, so it’s disappearance is not catastrophic, but it is less than perfect that the same menu is there twice and the mega sometimes shows and sometimes it doesn’t.
There is something fundamentally wrong with the way the template manager internally adds ‘-de-de’ to the menu name and I need to go back into the database to look for those random additions and remove them.

May 11, 2015 at 4:41 am #570087Hi Andrew,
The reason is that the menu item which these articles belongs to are assigned to default template style – ja_teline_v – Default – English: http://prntscr.com/73wcx7
It should be assigned to ja_teline_v – Default – German instead.
I just changed it for you and the menu is showing now.

May 14, 2015 at 3:00 am #570493Great! Thankyou very much. I had to thank the old fashion way, because I couldn’t find a ‘thankyou’ button to click. 🙂
