Hi all,

First things first: Thanks for programming this nice Component. Works like a charm!

Now i want to get the extension DOCMan to work with the S3 Component.

As far as i know, atm there´s no working solution for that ( correct me if i´m wrong).

I think writing a plugin that rewrites the used Image paths of DOCMan in Front and Backend
would solve this problem.
(For hooking in DOCMan i will talk to the the DOCMan devs …)

Could you help me to achieve this goal?

Do you already have an snippet or hint for me how to do:

• Check if an file is actually loaded to S3 (with the in the component provided Bucket data/S3 credentials)
• Rewrite the file path for Frontend/Backend to display properly

Any help , hints or tipps would be great!

Hi Thorsten,

JA S3 Amazon extension should work fine with Docman in most cases but not fully compatible yet.

You can contact provider of Docman for customization as you wish.
