Hello, I downloaded JA Argo on a test joomla installation before migrating my live site to it, but I am getting “Layout or not found”.

This is a clean Joomla installation without any custom modifications. I did have Gantry, Helix, and JA T3 framework installed before but were removed prior installing JA Argo and T3 1.4.3. framework.

For the record, newer templates works perfectly; I’ve test some of recent templates from Joomlart prior making this post. Perhaps, it’s not compatible with 3.2?

Please try this quick fix for the issue: open the folder: “…/your_root/templates/ja_argo/tpls/“, clone the file default-content-left.php and rename to the default.tpl. Then reload your site. We will review this issue in JA Agro template and update the fix in its next version.

    Hope this helps

Thanks. That made the template work.
I was somewhat frustrated because ja_argo was the only reason I paid for the membership …:)

I have the same problem and this didn’t fix it. Same as person above it’s the reason I rejoined club – the Argo page said 3.x so didn’t think of being issue. Any other ideas to try?

The solution by cssyeah above should work, please try again and if this issue still persists, you can PM me admin & ftp account of site you’re working on, I will check further.

I just fixed it for you, I renamed it to default.php, please try to set JA Argo as default template, you will see it works now.

And apologies for this late response, somehow I missed your PM

The post above cited as the fix says to rename it to default.tpl not default.php so …

It was mis-typed, our apology for that. It should be “default.php”, not “default.tpl”. If you need further helps, feel free to let me know.
