In the JA Zite demo, there are round social icons that appear with each item/article in the social feeds, such as a blue circle with an “f” for Facebook items. How do I configure and change these from the red circles with dialog box that is the default K2 icon?

Hi there,

Currently we’re using badge as background for this: http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#joomla25-templates.joomlart.com/ja_zite/templates/ja_zite/images/badge-bg.png

You could open file: templatesja_zitecssk2.css and find out item-badge for Facebook, Twitter, flickr .. item blocks and change to your desired one.

For whatever reason, no matter the item (facebook, twitter, instagram, etc), it always displays the default red badge.

I have the same problem, for example, in twitter feed show red circle and background is not light blue.

WHY IS THIS NOT IN THE USER GUIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I SPENT ALMOST 2 HOURS COMPARING SETTINGS TO DEMO AND USER GUIDE ONLY TO HAVE TO DIG THROUGH THE FORUM TO FIND THIS!!!!!!!! I WAS NOT ABLE TO MAKE PAGE STYLED LIKE DEMO WITHOUT ADDING THIS ONE SIMPLE THING.
The k2 category styling will not function properly without adding these keywords to the metadata info.
Not only did it show the badge but the display of my youtube article was showing the video as well.
Your user guide does not state this! And your settings image does not even have that parameter revealed.

I am so absolutely frustrated by this waste of time and will consider it when it’s time to renew my subscription.
