Thats right, and he would be able to have more power and get probably higher rankings.
November 8, 2010 at 5:50 pm #361967Joomlart is hands down the best template club.
For Teline 4 I think a module positions which can allow for ad space, especially within articles as is done on major news and magazine sites, is greatly needed.
The reason I say this is because Im currently using Teline 3 and all my ad space is hard coded in.
Also do we have a timeline on the release of this template?
November 8, 2010 at 10:29 pm #362000I’m looking forward to the Teline VI release. Can you publish some screenshots, so we can see the new layout?

Well.. the question is raise by many boarders here.. i saw Arvind saying its still in early stage.. not sure whether its in Dec, Jan or..
But some official statment should be made in order to stop such repetitive questions.. It doesnt look good on JA part as they ware working hard.. but without any short updates.

November 9, 2010 at 5:52 pm #362135Yeah, I’ve been waiting on renewing my Developer JA Subscription wondering what Teline IV is going to look like (I’m jumping between the thoughts of using Teline IV or one of the RocketTheme Syndicate Template for my next big project, but you can only wait for so long without news).

November 9, 2010 at 7:41 pm #362155I’m starting to think that half of the subcriptions on this site are only for the teline series 😛

November 9, 2010 at 8:04 pm #362157The percentage is high but nowhere near half. Great series of templates and I am certain that the upcoming version will continue to be as popular as ever.

November 11, 2010 at 6:21 pm #362483It will be nice if Joomlart develop a plugin offering functionalities similar to:

November 11, 2010 at 6:33 pm #362486I really do not see the point of that. Those features are already a part of Joomla, the plugin just styles them a bit. Or am I missing something?

November 11, 2010 at 6:37 pm #362489At the moment just having a preview of the design would do wonders for me…it’s hard to tell whether or not I’m actually going to like the design until I see it (while I liked Teline III, I think I was a little underwhelmed when it was finally released so I’m hoping that doesn’t happen again with Teline IV).
Also, please, please use an actual red color for that variation (I really didn’t like the red color variation in Teline III which looked more like magenta, Teline II’s red was much better).
Something more like Carnegie Mellon’s Red: http://www.cmu.edu/index.shtml would be awesome.
Building in collapsible panels for hiding additional content and modal/popup areas for the login forms (the way it was done in JA Social) would be great to have too.
This could come later, but having another variation of the Mega Menu like the one shown on the San Diego State University homepage might be useful for some individuals:
http://sdsu.edu/November 16, 2010 at 8:31 pm #363061I don’t need exact date, just ask it will be ready this year or possibly november? I think the Teline III too slow, it would be nice if it would be much faster loading of the page in Teline IV. Apart from this, a very good template the Teline series.

November 16, 2010 at 8:35 pm #363063I know a lot of work is going into this. The Teline series has always been a flagship product so LA want to do the best they can with it. As such no release date can be given yet.

November 16, 2010 at 9:44 pm #363073When we are talking about speed of template I hope you will use CSS Sprites in Teline IV. This will speedup that template. CSS and JS minify + compress is good staring point but for example Teline III is loading a lot of small gfx files which can be combined to one file with CSS Sprites technology and will speed up site loading a lot.
