Since it´s a newspaper site, it will have a lot of articles. The default Archive system is not that efficiente to handle big amounts of articles. It would worth to make a kind of calendar component, where you can get navigate through the months and years to get articles from a selected day (not like the current joomla Archive system that only can bring articles from the whole month).

Its obviusly that there will be a T3 version that supports Joomla 1.6… I supose it will come when the first stable Joomla 1.6 release hits the earth…
