I really hope you start offering real support for K2, like Gavick does, and unlike rockettheme.

All the modules should bee k2 compatible for teline 4.

We can only offer limited support for K2. IMO the guys at K2 are far better placed to support their component than any template club can be. I am aware the Gavik team are doing a sterling job however but if you read their forums they do have o send users to K2 as problems become more complex,

Problem is, they cannot and will not offer hacks for your modules. Plus, I believe that you are such an experienced group that integrating support will not be something difficult or time-consuming to do.

    Thank you for replying !

Arvind – I dont want to push or pressurise here. But just a small info.. Since i am working on city portal, I would like to know whether shall i go ahead with Community Plus or any nearby chances of Teline 4 releasing?

I have 2weeks of time.. It would be waste of all efforts if this is released in next 2weeks and i am done with community plus in such scenario.

If you do have any info, please do let me know.

    Thanks for your support.

Since its a longterm project and would not like to change any design or feature related, i would like to do it from quick start.

Also, i am not sure, what would be the real difference to Teline III vs Teline 4.. should expect better stuff isnt it?

While the plans for Teline 4 were for a November release it is a very complex template so it may get pushed back. Please do not expect it to be released in 2 weeks time. I would also suggest that is not a good idea to base a project on a template that has yet to be released and one that the final features has yet to be decided. If your project cannnot wait then I suggest to use a different option.

Can create a style like igoogle(http://www.google.com/ig).
We can set the style by ourselves.

    regards.

I will agree with you 100%, what i excpect is a bug free version sooner than the old Teline III so when i will get Teline 4 on hands i won’t have to deal with bugs and i will update my site with Teline 4 with less problems.

I want to install Teline III V2. I do not know if waiting for Teline IV.
I have no hurry to install Teline III V2. If Teline IV is a better version of Teline III then I wait.
Some moderator can explain it to me?

I am quite sure that the JA Developers are going to try their very best to deliver a Teline IV that is as robust and bug-free as possible out of the gate . . . . though I challenge anyone to find ANY template offering that someone hasn’t found at least one or two “bugs” somewhere along the way. These templates, and the coding involved, are getting more and more involved – so I think it may be a little pretentious to expect 100% infallible perfection 100% of the time …. especially for an offering as robust and complex as the Teline series.

A little late – but one thing, generally prevelant within all JA templates – modules that are there, that don’t necessarily work, or cannot be customised.

Enhanced modules, that are customisable to users – for example the weather and stock modules.

Things that tend to not really work – the photo gallery.

If they were viable components, it’d work much much better. JA Comment support (maybe somewhat tweaked) would be grand too.
