I made a new uncategorzed page and want to link it to one the links of the “main menu.” I know how to hook it up, but I only want the main menu, key concepts, and resources along the side, like this:

    http://www.mnvalleynews.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=434&Itemid=53

But I get more than I want, like this:

    http://www.mnvalleynews.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=447&Itemid=1

I cannot figure out how to select the items from the front page that I want and leave off the others.

I apologize that this question probably shows my ignorance to Joomla and JATIII.

Thanks in advance for any help.

On the front-page you have the JA New enabled and a lot of modules in col-mass position.
Just disable the JA News and assign modules to the menu items you need (“Home” should not be there).

    Gray,

Thanks for taking the time to respond

    I apologize for my ignorance.

Where do I go to change this. Note that I want these items on the front page, just not on the uncategorized articles that I have linked up under “Schedules and Events,” which was originally called the “Main Menu” in the template with all the sample content added.

    Thanks again in advance.

    Sincerly

    Richard

I think I got it. It is in the module manager. Still doing a little experimenting on how the “All” None and Slect Menu Items from list works.
