March 18, 2009 at 6:00 pm #139309I modified the CSS in ja-vm.css to change the VM Top shopping cart cartouche. When I go to firebug it show the code involve in the css at:
http://www.grafcomm.ca/joomlagraf/larix/
#ja-vm-cart {ja-vm.css (line 13)
background:transparent url(../images/vm-cart.jpg) no-repeat scroll right top;
color:#FFFFFF;
margin:0px;
padding-left:20px;
position:absolute;
right:0px;
top:0px;
width:243px;The above code is my modified code I can see in ja.vm.css that on line 76 you got:
#ja-vm-cart {ja.vm.css (line 76)
background:transparent url(../images/vm-cart-bg.gif) no-repeat scroll right top;
color:#FFFFFF;
margin:0px;
padding-left:20px;
position:absolute;
right:0px;
top:0px;
width:243px;
}I change it to reflect the modification of ja-vm.css
#ja-vm-cart {ja.vm.css (line 76)
background:transparent url(../images/vm-cart.jpg) no-repeat scroll right top;
color:#FFFFFF;
margin:0px;
padding-left:20px;
position:absolute;
right:0px;
top:0px;
width:243px;
}When I try to locate the image vm-cart.jpg of ja.vm.css with firebug it don’t seem to find it, is this Ok?
One other questions:
What is the meaning of listing all images in templateDetails.xml?
do I have to add all new images there?scotty Friendscotty

March 18, 2009 at 7:09 pm #296736You have two ja-vm.css files being called in the head. One is called by the VM module and one by the template itself. This is confusing Firebug.

What is the meaning of listing all images in templateDetails.xml?
do I have to add all new images there?The templateDetails.xml is only used for installing the template. You do not need to add images there.

March 19, 2009 at 1:37 am #296776the file —> ja.vm.css is in mod_ja_vmproductslide
The file —> ja-vm.css is in the css folder and is almost a double (css) of the one in mod_ja_vmproductslide….
For now I just comment out all the double code in mod_ja_vmproductslide, I want to concentrate the code I need to change in the css folder….
Will see what happen!

March 19, 2009 at 11:01 am #296841Hmm, just a note to your grafcomm.ca homepage, because there you give anyone who visits the site a direct link to your Joomla Admin login. Did you place this there on the frontpage with intention or did you forget to unpublish this?
I just mention this as a lot of people use JSecure, .htaccess files with password protection for the administrator folder and other extensions to avoid that people could in any way access this login page.:)

March 19, 2009 at 11:50 am #296846all my joomla web sites note 100% with JTS ( Joomla Tools Suite)
I wasn’t to worry to do that because you only have to place administrator in front of any joomla site adress to access the administration page.
I use Joomla 1.5.9 and htaccess as well as all permissions on all folder and files are correct.
Do JSecure can modify the http://www.sitejoomla/administrator problem (if it is a problem)?
Thanks for the warning!

March 19, 2009 at 1:35 pm #296853I don’t know if I understand you right, but when I clicked on the administrator link on the frontpage I was shown the normal Joomla login page /administrator/index.php and when I had your admin login information I could have logged in there.
Again, just a note.:)
