I just discovered more, after looking for 1 hour to change global settings for content – as I said, I used the joomlart Quickinstall, and wondering – there is no such menu in the configuration beside these menus: site – system – server.

September 18, 2008 at 9:49 pm #271210my first guess would be that you in the past used joomla 1.x and now 1.5.x as in 1.5 you have to set those settings on a different location. Used the 1.5.x quickstart?

September 19, 2008 at 5:51 am #271279As I said, Quickinstall with 1.5, and please tell me the location to find global settings.
As I said before, looking for 1 hour did not find anywhere, so it is missing in the Konfiguration area, where I found settings for site, system and server.
Anyway another problem is still unsolved with the Quickinstall menu system, where the whole logic does not work: After I put some own submenus to the main menus, I don´t see the active status, when I use a submenu and missing the corresponding status to the modul on the left: main menu modul

Yes, there I find menu with settings for site, system and server only.September 19, 2008 at 7:40 am #271312O.k. see the submenu – I did the new submenu under 2. mainmenu “Produktinfo”. When I click for example submenu “Webshop” – the mainmenu Item Produktinfo is not highlighted as active menu with blue color.
the corresponding menu modul on the left side does not show submenus. Try it here:

September 19, 2008 at 8:18 am #271320hi
you can edit Base.class.php(templates/ja_mageia/ja_menus folder)
Search those lines:
array_push($list, $v);
$children[$pt] = $list;
Change to
$v->url = str_replace('&', '&', $v->url);
array_push($list, $v);
$children[$pt] = $list;bennitos Friendbennitos
