I am using ja-barite templates. By default the advertising module has joomla ads. How can I put google ads.? Is there any tutorial available?

You’ll have to create a Google Adsense account if you haven’t already.

The best thing to do is download mod_html from the Joomla Extensions site.

Once installed, enter your adsense code in there and publish to as many mod positions as you want. You’ll have to be familiar with the various ways Google displays ads (text or image, small, med, large banners & boxes, etc.).

Get your html module here

http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,25/Itemid,35/

Go and get your banner code from google and paste it into your new html module.

assign it where you need it to show….pretty simple once you know how

Also, mod_banners works too – paste the AdSense code in the header or footer text or both. I think you need to change the category as well.
