Joomla 1.7

How can we add our google ads text to our modules, I use JCE editor but as soon as I add the text in the html section it either reverts to normal view and the code vanishes or It vanishes after save.

I have changes super user fom blacklisted to no filtering…

Try turning your editor to No Editor – often times the editor will try to “clean up” the code resulting in thinks like google ads code being taken out.

yes but you cant have no editor set all the time…….did this and it ha no effect by -the – way

I didn’t say leave your editor off all the time.
Turning off your editor for the editing of a single module is a common instruction for users wanting to insert javascript, custom forms, or whatever else they want into a site.

Actually you can toggle editor while still in editing page.
You could see these button under editor

And remember don’t get back editor BEFORE SAVED

I dont see the toggle editor in Joomla 1.7

Hi mfcphill,

Is this tinyMCE or JCE you are using ?

On JCE there should be a above the editor’s toolbar.

Using JCE and I know about the show/hide button…..I have got the code to stay using NO EDITOR but I have to disable all other editors, which is no major problem, I will just need to remember not to ever open this module with any other editor or the code gets stripped and I would have to go and find it again!

In that case do you think that a module/plugin would be more preferable ?
