September 26, 2009 at 8:03 pm #144626Hello All,
I had just one question about a certain type of adsense that keeps floating around my articles. Not quite sure where it comes from, but it’s a red box with a single good ad in it and it seems to just pop up in my articles. Wasn’t sure if it was part of the template or Joomla. Maybe somebody knows what I’m referring too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.scotty Friendscotty

September 27, 2009 at 1:02 pm #318777Thank you for your reply. you can see what I’m talking about here. http://www.socialworkerz.com/Movies-Music/tyler-perrys-i-can-do-bad-all-by-myself.html It’s usually a small red google ad at the bottom, but it tends to move around the page. I don’t think it was my original developer, but I don’t know it’s just doesn’t look right. I thought it might be part of the template or Joomla or something.

September 27, 2009 at 3:40 pm #318783the fact that they are genuine google ads is not consistent with hacking but unless you have added some kind of ads plugin that places an ad inside your article then it certainly does look like a hack.
If you want to PM me admin and FTP details I can tell you for sure what it is. If it does turn out to be a hack then your likely going to have to delete everything, reset all your FTP accounts, and inform your host immediately.

September 27, 2009 at 9:00 pm #318808<div id=”Mod332″ class=”moduletable”>
Mod332 in ja-mass.
Does that mean anything to anyone? Mod332 sounds like some form of spyware.
*runs Google searches*
I also noticed this in the footer of the link above: “You gotta no rights to do this. Comprende?”
Sounds like someones been messing about.

September 29, 2009 at 3:39 pm #319027Thank you for your replies. The footer with no coprehende is the JComments default message that you do not have priveledges to comment. If you register and sign in that will go away and be replaced by a comment box. The google adsense was coming from an adsense content plugin. I suppose it was installed by somone that worked on my website because the adsense code didn’t belong to me. I appreciate all of your help.

November 19, 2009 at 7:36 pm #324297Often these are left in by module developers to help users know exactly how to use them, others ofcourse do it in the hope of making a quick buck should it go live on another site…
