Hello, I’m new about this forum.

    I have installed in joomla 1.5.23 the template Ja_lime

    Where does I have to insert the Google analytics code?

    I have tried in ../templates/ja_lime/layouts/default.php, but I doesn’t work properly because the website goes down.

    I don’t know if the problem is the code in a wrong position or the hosting.

    For first I ask to this forum about the code.

    Sorry for this question, but I have found al lot of threads about Google analytics, but nothing with my specific template and joomla 1.5 installation.

    Thanks to all for answere

    JA Lime was an odd one in that it used an early version of the JAT3 system. Version 1 did not use a plugin.

    You can put it in default.php just before hte </head> tag as per below
<head>
    <?php $this->loadBlock(‘head’) ?>
    </head>
or you could put it at the bottom of the head.php file.

    I do however urge you to consider your used of Joomla 1.5.x for a new site. Not sure you are aware but J1.5.x is very near the end of its life. Joomla.ogr are withdrawing all support for it in a few months and from that time on there will be no security updates. I suggest you use the ne Joomla 2.5.x version of the template.

    Thanks for your reply and I’m just considering to migrate to joomla 2.5
