    Folks,

I followed the steps in creating the Google API Key for use within JA MultiLingual component. I am getting the following error message when I go to “Translate All”:

Failed: Failed Translate: There is a per-IP or per-Referer restriction configured on your API key and the request does not match these restrictions. Please use the Google Developers Console to update your API key configuration if request from this IP or referer should be allowed.

Not sure where I change this setting in Google to lift this restriction. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Joe Rebele

    Luna,

Thanks! I created a new Public API access key. The following are the settings I used:

    1. API Key – Per Google Supplied. Do not want to list it here
    2. Referrers: *.mydomain.info/*

I put the new API Key into JA Multilingual / Options. I’m still getting the same error message.

Is it a public access key I need to create?

    Thanks,
    Joe

    Hi Joe,

I have checked with our Google API key, our component still work well.
Maybe you get some mistake while creating the Google API key, please go to Google APIs help center to get support and know what the problem is.
