It seems that a site that I built with Joomlart’s Onepage template is not allowing Google to index it. I understand that I need to update the robot.txt but I’m not sure what I should tell it to allow. I just want it to be able to read the content on the page so that I can be indexed by Google.

    The site is http://www.safecamnola.com

    The robot.txt is here: http://www.safecamnola.com/robots.txt

Your robots.txt is standard to Joomla as far as I can see.

Have you made sure under Global Configuration in admin that you have set ‘Robots’ to ‘Index Follow’?

I’m no expert on this side but maybe that helps.

Yes, Robots is set to Index Follow in the Global Configuration. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

I thought maybe it had something to do with the Onepage template since I’ve used Joomla! many times before and never had a problem with Google indexing the site. With Onepage, all of the content is managed as modules in the Joomla back end instead of as articles, so I thought maybe I had to put special instructions in the robot.txt so that Google new where to look.
