I have done all the steps in your link

I enabled Javascript API and recreated the server API – no change

Then I tried browser API – No change
So I tried Android API – No change
So I tried IOS API – No change

Which API should I use and what more do I need to do to get it working?

Okay, after enabling each API under libraries, deleting all API’s and creating a new browser API I have a map showing up.

BUT, the map is of New York and I can’t get it to display my coordinates/location. It is as if it ignores my location detail completely.

    Please advise

I am done battling with this. I will just make use of an Iframe, at least that works.

I have finally got the map showing correctly just for it to be completely dead. Cant zoom or anything.

What a huge waist of time.

    Hi
As u can see in the guide link you have to create Your Google Map API key based on your site and then add the API key in the JA Google map Plugin .You can also try the suggestion given here for how to create API key .

It worked for me only after you select some of the configuration.
