hi, I’m using JA Google Map version on joomla 3.3.6 and since last night it shows an address in New york instead of the one i added in London. I’ve checked the API code and its active and using these Latitude and Longitude for the map.
Longitude -0.081794
Latitude 51.585185

the map was working fine and I’ve cleared the cache and all the settings seems fine. would appreciated if you could help with this.

In this case, I need to check the problem from back-end of your site but your site sets protect password access. I could not access back-end of your site. Pls pm me the credentials info, I will help you to check it further.

It’s very hard to suggest the solution for you without clue but below is some case to check it

+ Check the address from configuration from JA Google map plugin.

+ Check the address from configuration from JA ACM module.

I only changed the configuration from JA GoogleMap plugin of backend site. Now you can see it is working fine on your site.

Hi, Ninja Lead, can you tell me what changes you made in the back-end.
I am experiencing same problem. Map is showing New York address, the code generator has no effect.
I cannot change map location.
I have the latest version of JA Decor template, which comes with the ja google map plugin.

@annesinger: You can go to admin site >> Extensions > Plugin manager >> JA Google Map plugin and change Target Location option with your location

Decor Templatye,

I got the same problem here. Always showing new york.
Tried everything, changed API key, reverted to API original key.
Setup the plugin as requested, nothing works!

i submitted another thread here:

and the Moderator there posted that he fixed it directly which is wrong as it doesn’t show correct address and as you mention it it gives an errors in backend.

I have attempted to configure the plugin as per the documentation and all my settings have no effect. Furthermore the code generator does not work. Am I missing something?
@behroz is correct. I also posted in http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/google-map-problem-after-update-in-ja-decor/

Seems like that fix was not effective. The code generator does not appear to work, I have changed the API key out and back to the original.

I’m pretty sure I know where New York is now 🙂
