Hi Luca,
thanks for your help. downgraded to version 2.5.7 and it works now. at least i know the problem is with the plugin and not the template.
@dosplus try this and it should fix the map for you as well.

installed the version 2.5.7 and fixed the issue. you might want to check the latest version and fix the bug there.

I have the same problem with JA Blank Template. JA Google Maps shows address in New York instead of my correct address in Germany. Any bug fixes for me?
