October 12, 2011 at 11:29 am #169592Hello
I had a site, made by my self in php, referencing in google. This was not a joomla site.
I took the Joomla Janion templates and i created a new version of my site with Ja Anion.
The migration was made at the 20 august 2011.
My site is still referencing in google with the old links of my old version of site.My question is : how to force google to take care of the new pages of my Ja Anion site ?
Must I add a new meta tag in a page of my template ?Regards

October 12, 2011 at 11:06 pm #418914Hi,
I can see that you are referring to Google site links. Sorry but as far as i know you can’t control that only Google does!So the only think you can do is wait for Google bot’s and Google algorithms to recreate those links for your site.
Regards
Manos

October 13, 2011 at 8:05 am #419007Hello
Thanks for your answer
I wonder if it is possible to force Google bot’s and Google algorithms with a tag in the joomla template :
<meta http-equiv=”last-modified” content=”YYYY-MM-DD@hh:mm:ss TMZ” />Regards

October 13, 2011 at 9:50 am #419033You could always use a proper redirection and you can ask Google bot to visit your site more often but you will also have to add some fresh content to achieve that.
October 27, 2011 at 12:23 pm #421882I agree with pascm. It is essential to keep adding new and appropriate content with sufficient number of keywords. This will make it easy for the urls to get crawled in Google. Moreover it is also essential top promote the web pages through proper online marketing.
