@dumpyman,

Purity III Icons are using Font Awesome, this is an icon font. Google translate still face issue when translating website with icon font. T3 framework and Purity III will fix this issue in upcoming version.

A quick fix for icon seach in search module:

Open templatespurity_iiihtmlmod_searchdefault.php file and replace

<i class="fa fa-search"></i>

with:

<i class="fa fa-search notranslate" ></i>
