August 30, 2011 at 8:14 am #167980Hello,
First, thank you for adding “Google 1+ Button” to the plugin System – Social JA 🙂
But there is a display difference (and problem) with firefox 4 and internet explorer 8 :
Firefox 4, “Button 1+ Google” goes below.
With Explorer 8, the icon is placed too high
See screenshot in attachment : jasocial-firefox4-explorer8.pngWhat I want is a visual similar like this one (but without the count box) :
see attachement : 2011-08-30-09h54_25.pngThank in advance.

August 31, 2011 at 2:57 pm #409829See if this helps out:
On line 67 of index.php change:
<!-->
to
<!-->
Should work in IE8… but if it doesn’t~~
In the template’s index.php file, immediately following the <head> statement, insert the following statement:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7" /> <!-- for IE8 Compatibility -->
Save the file, refresh the page.
This is only a temporary fix, please continue to be sure you are using our most current versions of the template and ALL modules/components/plug-ins!
Hope that helps!dieudonne Frienddieudonne

September 19, 2011 at 1:26 pm #413607Yes it’s a installation from a quickstart (Joomla 1.6), but this site is in development for over 6 months.
Did you see the link I mentionned in the ticket : DNC-401-57409 ?

September 21, 2011 at 8:50 am #414084In my ticket info (#DNC-401-57409), the owner is Troy Hall.
So any news about this bug ?
———————
And is it possible to remove the line mentioned in red in the screenshot ?
I try with the “Facebook Like Settings” (see screenshot), in the parameter : “width”.
BUT if the language changes (depends OS of the system), it doesn’t work anymore.So is there a other solution to remove this line ?

This is a known issue and we are working on it. As far as asking if you have updated, you would be surprised how many people do NOT use the most recent versions and then wonder why the bug is there, so we have to ask. I am sure you are wise enough to use the latest download version available from Ja, but we still have to ask and KNOW the version number being used as a new release could occur overnight from when a person posted last. You just can never tell.
As for your issue with Ja Social Plug In, the plug in does not come with the Teline V download package and must have been installed at a later timer by you, correct? Ja System Social Plug In does come loaded in the JA Social template download package and is designed and coded for in that package, suggesting that any adjustments for IE or any other browser would be in the additional css file included with the JA Social template download package.
There may be specific code that can help you when you use FireBug or IE Developer tools to diagnose this issue!
I have been to the site and I see no Google+ , so I can not diagnose for you any further.dieudonne Frienddieudonne

Incredible ! Did you watch??
If you look closely you will see that the icon is just below (see screenshot), it is precisely the bug !
So now can you fix this???
