    When using the google maps plugin from http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/maps-a-weather/maps-a-locations/maps/1147 togheter with JA Portfolio, the map controls etc show white blocks instead of being transparent.

    I have no clue how to solve this, but I do know that switching to joomla default template makes the plugin work correctly again.

    Hi,
    Your problems are because of white background color for images. To resolve the problem do the following:
    Open “template.css” on location “templates/ja_portfolio/css/”, define new style as:

    .map img{
    background:transparent !important;
    }

    Thank you, now it looks better!
    It’s strange though.. I could find the .map img with “view component” in chrome, but it didn’t exist in the CSS file
    However I did find where to remove “background: #fff ;”

    div.catItemIntroText img {

    In k2.css
