    Hello,

I have a mainmenu with many root items and I would like to group them under one single item in Main Menu without having to move them all to a new menu item — because that will change their address.*

In other words: I want to put all categories (cat1, cat2, cat3) under a single menu item called “CATEGORIAS”. But when I do that, the address will be http://joomlasite/CATEGORIAS/cat1 but I would like to have only http://joomlasite/cat1 because the menu item CATEGORAIS is ther not as a category or section but simply to group them and make the menu more clean.

I’m not sure this is something to be accomplished with Joomla itself or with Megamenu.

    Can you help me?

    Thank you

It’s better to use an extension for SEF URLs since showing many menu items that way, your site will not look nice.

Please search around Joomla Extension Directory to find one that fits you: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/sef
