6. Stay on Topic

• It helps in following or assessing the progress of any thread. Too many offtopic posts in any thread diminishes the importance of problem in question.
• Avoid hijacking others threads with offtopic comments or unrelated suggestions.

7. Patience

• Especially on weekends. :p. Its generally beer time for us.

Thanks for this. I am just delighted to actually find this forum. I have been using WordPress and my daughter who is a webdeveloper uses mostly Joomla. Her constant ‘oh, don’t bother Mum, I don’t know why you don’t just use Joomla have finally got me here. I am having problems with headers and etc. with the WordPress templates and tired of picking a great looking template and then having it come up with a heap of advertising at the bottom of the page. Not a very professional look is it? Well, hopefully I will enjoy my steep learning curve here and can then help others out. cheers!
