I was thinking about using JomSocial for a local community site that I’m working on but ‘Google Friend Connect’ is now available and best of all it’s free here.

Now it’s got me wondering if anybody has tried it yet and if so, what is it like?

My site isn’t scheduled to go live for another 4-6 weeks so I can’t test it out in a live enviroment but my curiosity is killin me.:(( If anyone has had experience with it please post here…..

I have published two google gadgets now so you can see.

Can make them in your own colour scheme and things like that, have a look.
