Hi there – I noticed at lot of new template updates were out this week but I can’t find any info to see if JA Charity has been updated to Joomla 3.6.4 or not!

I couldn’t see it on any old blogs/newsletters or anywhere obvious BUT I believe a line of text next to a Templates ‘Quick Info’ stating the exact current version would be handy?

Anyway my PROBLEM is I need to update the template and Joomla to hopefully fix Virtual Mart!!! in short

This issue occurred whilst trying to get rid of VM completely to enable me to update to the new version of Joomla 3.6.4 in the first place. (As I had a VM error after updating to the new Joomla 3.6.4)

I then tried to delete VM (which didn’t seem possible without deleting individual vm items) but in the process I must deleted a small part of the ‘virtual mart’ extension & because of this it no longer displays in the backend with a 404 Component not found error when I click >componets then virtualmart-aio

I have tried to fix by ‘uploading & installing’ a new full package (of virtual mart) but its gives me the warning below:

    Warning

JInstaller: :Install: Can’t find Joomla XML setup file. The Joomla package cannot be installed through the Extension Manager. Please use the Joomla! Update component to update Joomla.

    My site is http://www.petroletrust.co.uk

    Please Help!

    Thanks

    Chris.

    Hi
More templates are under update and will be released soon .
For the VM you have to check the virtual mart and its addon extension compatibility with Latest Joomla. I tested template with Latest Joomla on localhost but not getting any 404 error.
Do not update live site without backup.

    Hi there,

This VM issue isn’t because of the Joomla version but an issue with a part of the extension I must have deleted when attempting to remove VM to be able to update the template, because of this it no longer displays in the backend with a 404 error.

I have still not fixed this but I did try to install the full package again (but got the xml error as above) and I also tried installing the individual VM componets (core, AIO and TCPDF) but nothing has fixed the 404 Component not found error as yet!!

    Please Advise,

    Chris H.
