Brainstorming is good and useful.
Of course it’s not called JoomlArt for nothing, however, on any (specialized or not) forum, people use to exchange ideas.
Otherwise, the Joomlart could be a “support only” forum -nothing else.To my opinion (only!) it’d be good to have an option (for those who wish to integrate a forum to their Joomla! site) even with an additional fee to our membership, for forum templates (according to the existing JoomlArt templates).
Imagine… you run a Joomla! site with any of the super JoomlArt templates… and your forum has the default phpBB subsilver template! :((scotty Friendscotty

LOL! It is a support forum and nothing else! Support for Joomlart templates.
People don’t come here to talk about the weather, the latest movie, or the price of turnips.
People don’t come here for the phpBB support and they certainly don’t come here for phpBB themes the same as I don’t walk into Domino’s and tell them they should start doing Big Macs.

January 30, 2009 at 11:12 am #288941Oh, I’m sorry!
I thought, people who pay in order to get a wonderful template and of course, a wonderful and flexible site, were interested on seeing how this one could get even better!Besides, if it was “a support only” forum, its owners shouldn’t add a “Wishlist” category…
PS. Next time, I’ll visit phpBB for the weather forecast, as it seems I’m in the wrong place! 😀

I didn’t tell JA to do anything, I was asking a question, so that bird does not fly………
I asked for a poll and that is what I got, nothing more, nothing less.
But well, seems we are straying far from the actual question and my second question why people do not fill a simple poll…..
The domino’s example doesn’t fly either, it’s called joomlart, but maybe it is time to name it MagentoArt?sfpkent Friendsfpkent

Agree with you. They have joomla, now Magento, if they have to work on phpBB, I am afraid that it will affect joomla template.
