    Hi,

    I use joomla 1.6

I don’t want to display any content on my front page.
I created a new profile in the Template manager to hide the content and also unpublished all the modules for the frontpage. The problem I have is that the background images for the left or column are still showing up – see attached image. How do I go about hiding these for only the front page?

    Thanks,

    J

    Hello bohemiadesign,
Can you show me the code you had editted in the template manager ->layouts?
It’ll be great if you can send me your site link for checking.

    Hi huypl,

I haven’t changed any of the code in the template. I created a new style in the joomla 1.6 template manager and then assigned it to my home page. The new style have the “Hide Main content block” set to No.

    Thanks,
    J
