Hope someone can help me, i have just installed the update and every time on the search results i get a null.

Hi Chris,

Your site is down. Please check this.
Regarding upgrade version, please go to components >> jak2filter >> run re-indexing and set up config again. Because this component has many changes in the result layout setting. Please check user guide http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/userguide-ja-k2-filter-package-for-joomla-2-5-3-0/
