October 30, 2008 at 4:56 am #277479OK, so I added my 3 non-profits and I can’t verify. I will try again at office tomorrow with high speed. Also it says I am at my max…What do I do now? Can I still use more templates?
Please advise,
james

Jimmer you might want to read this tread:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/non-profit-site-entry-in-member-area/To quote Hung Dinh exactly:
“We are sorry that non-profit domains are no longer offered on JoomlArt. For the templates you already used for non-profit organizations, they are still effective under your membership on JoomlArt. However, you are not allowed to add new non-profit domains.”This once again asks for action from JA members, they cant just change this without further notification or compensation, when members joined when they promised them unlimited non profit domains.

October 31, 2008 at 12:24 pm #277650I contacted you days ago about a domain which I want marked as verified as I cannot verify it myself as I no longer have root access. So far I’ve received no reply and the domain is still listed as unverified.

November 30, 2008 at 4:09 pm #280784I read through this but was still not clear. If I have a licensed domain, is it OK then to remove the copyright?

November 30, 2008 at 4:13 pm #280786Another question, that was asked but I could not find the answer. Bennitos wrote:

How exactly did this happen. I had plans and have been working on a couple no-profit sites. That was actually the main reason I joined Jommlart. I am just slow in finalizing the sites. But how come this was promised when we joined and changed with no notice. Should there not at lease have been a warning, say 2 – 4 months, before the decision was implemented. It would at least have been nice for those of us who were planning to use that, but now are not able.

I would like some black and white clarification on this as well please. When I joined it was OK to remove the JA copyright link at the footer of the template, if this has now changed then you should have let us know at least by email.
If it is the case that we are no longer allowed to remove it then I wont be signing up for another years subscription as there are plenty of decent free templates out there I could use if I wanted to have someone else’s link at the bottom of all my pages.
I don’t see the point of paying someone so that they can have a site wide link and advert, it’s supposed to work the other way round with me getting paid to display the link!

Some people can remove the copyright and some can after paying 40$ extra.
If you are member for a longer period then you can remove the copyright without paying the extra 40 dollar for it. If you are a recent member you will have to pay the additional 40 dollar to remove copyright.
I will add the exact date to this post later.

November 30, 2008 at 10:36 pm #280817I presume members who renew their license are covered by the new license agreement and therefor must leave copyright info intact?

As far as being told to me when i asked YES, developers can still remove copyright tho.
Free Non-Profit domains are scrapped in total for current and for new members, they promised i would have an reply from them about this issue in pm but weeks later no response.sunrise Friendsunrise

December 1, 2008 at 4:45 am #280829it just goes to show that we are all confused too, things just are not clear, some of that happens becuase of the language translations
also, just an FYI
when they did have the non-profit system, you were not allowed to remove the copyright on the free use of non profit templates.
