December 6, 2008 at 2:23 pm #136003I wanted to ask if anyone has used SWmenuFree? Does it work well with Joomlart templates? What is your opinion of it? Does it make life easier, production faster?

December 6, 2008 at 6:18 pm #281583I have used it on several sites and it works great.
I have not tried it on a joomlart template, but i suspect it will have an issue with the way the top menu is hard coded. If your able to remove the coding for the top menu systems in a joomlart template, it should work fine.

December 7, 2008 at 1:00 am #281597Thanks for your input. I don’t know if I would be able to do that. Maybe I’ll wait to see if more poeple have any experience with it in Joomlart, or just try it out for myself.

December 8, 2008 at 10:02 pm #281824Try it and see how you go.
Copy the template folder and rename it and then edit the code in the index.php if the menu is hard coded.
Otherwise assign the SW menu to the same position as the “Default” JA menu and unpublish it and then publish the SWTelling us what template would make this more useful and we could give examples.

It may be that the message you were trying to give was lost and the above message came instead. I am sure you had something else you were trying to write?
