Hi, I’m having trouble getting my head around JA Builder…

I have an existing site that I want to change template/frameworks as it is no longer being updated for new versions of Joomla.

I was thinking builder would be a good way to re-create my existing template. I would like to keep a similar feel to the site, at least to begin with. Can I create a something like a template that my existing site could be plugged into? It seems you have to create a new page for every menu item in JA Builder, and that would be way too much work, and doesn’t make sense to me. (but then again I think I’m missing something here) Can I create a "template" and use it with my existing site, and how do you do that. Thanks for any help.

Hi,

With JA Builder, you will need to create each page for each menu item and add built-in block from JA Builder to that page.

If you already had an existing website and want to use the existing content, you can try with another JoomlArt template, pls check out the collection here: https://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates
