Hi – I am having trouble installing extension into a Joomla 3.5.1 website and I have now upgraded it to 3.6.4 and still getting error messages. Now I get …. "File not uploaded for security reasons! Error There was an error uploading this file to the server"

I tried to do from the JED it says it is not available for this Joomla version – is that right?

I have successfully installed it on a localhost 3.6.4 site – no problem and works well.

The site I am trying to update to is a shared server so wondering about restrictions they may have on it.

any advice please? thank you Caz

Hi
If you are getting notification from the server due to security reasons and installing it on localhost fine,
there can be an issue from the server side.
I suggest you contact the hosting provider for this, so they can investigate the issue.
I installed Image hotspot on Joomla 3.6.5 without any issue.
